As a condition of your admission to study at the Technical University of Ilmenau you have received the condition to submit a language certificate of level C1. This means that you must complete a language course before starting your regular study program, which should bring you to this level. The TU Ilmenau Service GmbH, a subsidiary of the Technical University of Ilmenau, offers various language courses for acquiring language level C1. While taking the courses you will be enrolled into the APC-Program at TU Ilmenau, you will get a Thoska-card (study card) and get all benefits regarding the APC-Program.

The booking includes:
- Participation in the placement test (08.04.2024)
- Participation in an English language course
- Seminar material for the respective language course
- TOEFL / TOEIC mock exam (depending on exam) incl. correction
- 1x TOEFL or TOEIC exam with normal correction speed
Attention:
To held the courses, there must be at least 10 person attending. In case of less than 10 bookings, this booking is going to stay valid but will be postponed to the next semester.
A refund after successful registration for the language entrance test, successful payment and issuance of embassy-relevant documents is possible within 2 years from the date of registration against a cancellation fee of 50% of the total price upon written request.
If you have a confirmed booking which you are unable to fulfill due to delays in the issuing of visas, the booking will automatically be postponed free of charge to the semester following the semester in which you booked the course.
