Welcome to the ACADEMIC PREPARATION COURSE (APC) at Technische Universität Ilmenau.

On this page you receive the invoice for the language placement test English / German as a foreign language. To asses your language skills, you will take the placement test. Deadline for registration is 15 September 2019. The test will take place on 25 September 2019:

Placement test German as a foreign language: in Humboldt-Hörsaal (Audimax) from 1 to 4 p.m.

Placement test English: in EAZ building room 2211 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The fee for the placement test is € 20 and is due immediately. The fee will not be refunded if you do not participate in the test or fail the test. After the test:

• you will be assigned to an intermediate or advanced level course in the field of German as a foreign language. The language courses are provided by our cooperation partner, TU Ilmenau Service GmbH.
• you will be offered a programme of English classes for TOEFL (ITP) preparation.
